- We are travelling by coach from Kyrgyzstan to Almaty, Kazakhstan. This will be about 8 hours with lunch in Biskek and a border crossing mid afternoon. On the way we stopped at some beautiful sandstone formations. On the other side of the road was a ravine with a farmhouse and a group of resting donkeys.
